I read this book while we were in Florida. It is the first book I have read completely through in quite a while, and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

It is partly a travelogue and partly spiritual inspiration, involving a road trip from New York City out to North Dakota, which is where my mother is from. Next time we go back east, I am tempted to visit some of the restaurants and landmarks the author describes in his text.
