A poem in my pocket

Comments

I realize it's not yet the 17th, but I do have a poem, one I wrote at age 16 , when I was questioning what we hold close as important and I am sharing it with you;

A rose
blossomed
and died,
Without
a reason
or purpose.
And
no one
noticed,
or cared...
But,
The sun
wept
in memory.

[this is good]
I love your poem!!!
Thanks, Tammie. Not "my poem" in the sense that I wrote it, but a rather powerful one, right? David Whyte is an interesting man, a poet with some interest in business management, among other things. I have listening to some of his readings on CD, and enjoyed them, as did also my late wife, who was inspired by him.
That is a fantastic poem! That is what I think.

And at age 16? Amazing composition and thoughtfulness.
Oh, O.K. yes it is quite powerful indeed!!! Very good one!!!
